Abstract

A novel fly ash based polyurethane(PU)-epoxy resin(ER)composite grouting material has been devel-oped to address the issues,the rock collapse and water inrush caused by the weak cementation,high water sensitiv-ity and easy softening characteristics of the tertiary hypabyssal rock sandstone formation during tunnel construction,as well as a multi-objective optimization ratio method.The range of powder/ash ratio,PU and ER dosage was deter-mined through single factor experiments;The response surface methodology was used to reveal the influence law of various factors and the interactions on the impermeability,compressive strength,and tensile strength of the slurry;A response surface-satisfaction function model was constructed by combining satisfaction multi-objective optimiza-tion method,and the grouting material ratio was optimized.The research results indicate that the influence of vari-ous factors on the relative permeability coefficient and tensile strength of the slurry is in the order of ER content>PU content>powder/cement ratio,and the influence on the compressive strength of the slurry is in the order of PU content>powder/cement ratio>ER content;The interaction between PU dosage and ER dosage has a significant impact on the properties of the slurry.The optimal ratio of grouting material is that powder/cement ratio of 0.13,PU content of 7.5%,ER content of 6.6%.Under this ratio,the relative permeability coefficient,compressive strength,and tensile strength of the grout are 0.004 5 mm/h,27.0 MPa,and 5.6 MPa,respectively.The error between the predicted values of the model and the experimental values is smaller,which validates the applicability of the method.This research result can provide new material solutions and optimization design methods for disaster pre-vention and control in tunnel engineering under special geological conditions.
