Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of atraumatic restorative treatment(ART)techniques in the treatment of dental caries in children.Methods A total of 80 children with dental caries in Nanchang Jingkai Pinzhong Dental Clinic from July to December 2023 were selected as research subjects.They were divided into a control group and an observation group using random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received traumatic filling treatment,while the observation group received ART techniques.Both group were followed up for one year.The treatment effect,pain level,and levels of inflammatory factors in gingival groove fluid were compared between the two groups.Results The treatment success rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the treatment time required was shorter than that of the control group,and the pain score was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After 3 days of treatment,the levels of inflammatory factors(hypersensitive C-reactive protein,tumor necrosis factor-α,and interleukin-6)in gingival groove fluid in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion ART techniques have a better effect in the treatment of dental caries in children,which can relieve the pain during repair,shorten the treatment time and reduce the levels of inflammatory factors in gingival groove fluid.关键词
