Abstract
In order to screen out the excellent bamboo species suitable for planting in northern Guangxi,the growth adaptabilities of three medium-sized bamboo species of Dendrocalamus,namely D.sapidus,D.minor var.amoenus,and D.minor,are compared and analyzed for 3 consecutive years.The results show that the three bamboo species present good adaptability to the natural environmental conditions in northern Guangxi.As a local bamboo species,D.sapidus boasts a large number and fast growth of new bamboos per year,which is suitable for large-scale planting.In view of the comprehensive growth indexes,the adaptability of the three bamboo species in northern Guangxi is ranked as D.sapidus>D.minor var.amoenus>D.minor.关键词
