Artificial Intelligence,New Quality Productivity and Global Value Chain Climbing
摘要
Abstract
Under the background of global value network reconstruction,artificial intelligence,as an advanced production factor,has a profound impact on total factor productivity and the transformation of economic organizational forms.Based on the da-ta of 284 cities at prefecture level and above in China from 2011 to 2022,this paper constructs multiple econometric models to em-pirically examine the impact of artificial intelligence on the global value chain climbing.The findings go as below:Artificial intelli-gence can significantly drive up the climbing of the global value chain.Artificial intelligence can promote the development of new quality productivity,thereby driving the climbing of the global value chain.The driving force of artificial intelligence on the climb-ing of the global value chain exhibits an N-shaped nonlinear characteristic.Therefore,an artificial intelligence technology sharing system should be established to promote the digitalization development of core industries,drive the development of new quality productivity through scenarios to reshape the value hierarchy of economic geography,and combine regional characteristics and digital intelligence foundations to develop artificial intelligence in a differentiated manner.关键词
