Constraints and Countermeasures for High-Yield and Efficient Cultivation of Shoot-Producing Moso Bamboo Forests in Hunan Province:A Case Study of Taojiang County
摘要
Abstract
Hunan province is a province with rich bamboo resources in China,and its area and output of bamboo shoot resources are among the top in the country.However,in recent years,shoot-producing moso bamboo(Phyllostachys edulis)forests has been challenged by increasingly obvious problems in terms of management.Continuous declines in bamboo shoot production per unit area and low economic benefits have become an important constraint to the development of Hunan's bamboo shoot processing industry.Taking Taojiang county as an example,this paper analyzes the problems in the management of shoot-producing moso bamboo forests,proposes key technical measures for its high-yield cultivation,and comes up with the strategies to address these problems.This study would provide support for improving the management quality of shoot-producing moso bamboo forests in Hunan province and achieving the healthy and sustainable development of the bamboo shoot industry.关键词
