Practices and Countermeasures of Bamboo Industry Development in Northern Guangdong's Mountainous Areas under the Initiative of"Bamboo as a Substitute for Plastic"

Abstract
As an important ecological barrier and bamboo resource rich area in Guangdong province,the mountainous areas in northern Guangdong have ushered in significant opportunities for bamboo industry development under the background of"bamboo as a substitute for plastic".However,the bamboo industry in the region faces challenges such as low-end lock-in of industrial chain,insufficient technological innovation,deficiencies in industrial synergy mechanisms,and hindered market expansion.This paper analyzes the bamboo resources available and the current industrial development in the mountainous areas of northern Guangdong,and discusses the practices adopted to promote bamboo industry transformation towards the"bamboo as a substitute for plastic"action focusing on typical cases of full industry chain and multi-industry integration development models.It suggests that the extension of the entire industry chain,the integration of multiple industries,technological innovation,and brand cultivation are the key factors to the high-quality development of the bamboo industry.Based on this,countermeasures are proposed to promote the extension and value upgrading of the industrial chain,strengthen technological innovation and achievement transformation,establish a government-association-enterprise collaborative development mechanism,and improve the market expansion and brand cultivation system,thereby providing references for promoting high-quality development of the bamboo industry in the mountainous areas of northern Guangdong and other similar regions.关键词
