Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of PDCA circulation quality management mode led by specialized nurses in premature infants with peripherally inserted central venous catheter(PICC).Methods A total of 102 premature infants who were admitted to the Department of Neonatology,the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from May 2019 to May 2020 were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into control group(51 cases)and observation group(51 cases)according to the method of random number table.The control group received routine nursing mode for PICC care,and on the basis of the control group,the observation group received PICC care based on PDCA circulation quality management mode led by specialist nurses.The incidence and severity of mechanical phlebitis,the success rate of disposable catheterization,PICC retention time and time-consuming of catheter placement were compared between the two groups.Results The incidence of mechanical phlebitis in the observation group was 13.72%,which was lower than that in the control group(35.29%)(P<0.05).The success rate of disposable catheterization in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and time-consuming of catheter placement was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the severity of mechanical phlebitis and PICC retention time between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion PDCA cycle quality management mode led by specialized nurses can effectively reduce the incidence of mechanical phlebitis after PICC catheterization in premature infants,improve the catheterization quality and nursing efficiency,which is worthy of clinical application.关键词
