Abstract

In order to investigate the effects of sudden changes in winter ambient temperature in cold regions on students'cognitive ability,combines subjective human perception with cognitive ability testing,and designs a temperature sudden change experiment with a temperature difference of 15℃ in a simulated classroom environment of a university in Xi'an,China,to investigate the effects of the length and number of short-term thermal experience on the learning efficiency of the subjects.The results showed that in the indoor stage,the thermal sensation vote(TSV)of the subjects gradually increased and stabilised with the increase of the residence time in the room,and the thermal sensation vote values of the subjects in each working condition were restored to the neutral-warm state(TSV≥0.5)within 21 min of entering the room.There was a statistical difference in the effect of the duration of short-term thermal experience on the subjects learning performance indicators(LP)and the subjects'LP means for the 3 min condition were lower than those for the 5 and 10 min conditions,and the subjects'LP increased with the increase in the du-ration of short-term thermal experience.
