Abstract
Objective To analyze the disease spectrum of hospitalized children in a hospital from 2016 to 2023,aiming to provide scientific support for the government in rational allocation of pediatric medical resources and the implementation of pediatric disease prevention and healthcare programs.Methods The primary data of hospitalized children's medical records from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University were collected,and the primary discharge diagnosis of children were classified and counted using the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems 10th Revision.SAS 9.4 software was utilized for data cleaning and analysis.Results The total number of pediatric discharges showed an upward trend from 2016 to 2023.The top five disease systems were respiratory diseases(34.10%),certain infectious and parasitic diseases(9.73%),digestive system diseases(9.12%),genitourinary system diseases(8.09%),and certain conditions originating in the perinatal period(6.74%).The top five specific diseases were pneumonia(15.90%),bronchitis(5.94%),adenotonsillar hypertrophy(5.77%),acute upper respiratory infections(3.95%),and inguinal hernia(3.51%).In recent years,the proportion of female children had increased,while the proportion of infants and young children had decreased,and the proportion of surgical children had risen.Conclusion Variations exist in the distribution of diseases among pediatric patients across different years,genders,age groups,and between internal and surgical pediatric patients.Management should be more targeted in allocating medical resources.关键词
