Abstract
In order to improve the flame retardant properties of polycarbonate(PC)and make it have a wider range of applications,the flame retardant PC composites were prepared by modified nano-carbon black(MCB),and the comprehensive properties of the PC composites under different doping content were tested.The results showed that the PC composites doped with 2.0%MCB had good comprehensive properties.Compared with the unmodified PC,the limiting oxygen index of PC/MCB 2.0%was 33.5%,with an increase of 26.4%.The peak heat release rate was 260 kW/m2,a decrease of 57.5%.The peak smoke release rate was 0.13 m2/s,which was decreased by 40.9%.The peak emission rates of CO2 and CO smoke were 0.17 g/s and 0.006 g/s,respectively,with a decrease of 60.5%and 61.0%.In addition,with the increase of MCB content,the tensile strength of PC composites increased,and the elongation at break decreased.关键词
