全球地表甲烷分布特征及其排放源分析
Analysis of global surface methane distribution characteristics and its emission sources

Abstract
Methane ranks as the second largest greenhouse gas after carbon dioxide,exerting a significant influence on global climate.This study utilizes data from EDGAR,CMS,and GCP cov-ering the years 2011 to 2018 to conduct an in-depth analysis of the distribution characteristics of global surface methane and the contribution of its emission sources in countries with high meth-ane values.During this period,global methane concentrations continued to rise,with human activ-ities and natural wetlands contributing 60.3% and 39.7% to the global methane levels,respec-tively.The monthly growth rate of methane in most counties mostly varied between(0~10)×10-12 kg·m-2·s-1,with Brazil,China,the United States,and India identified as regions with high surface methane fluxes.Among the four countries with high methane flux,China's anthropo-genic methane emissions were the highest,accounting for 18.4% of the global total.Of these,raw material extraction was the largest contributor,emitting 933.43 Mt CO2-eq/a,or 43% of the to-tal,followed by agriculture and waste management,which emitted 637.60 Mt CO2-eq/a and 498.59 Mt CO2-eq/a,respectively,making up 34% and 20% of the total.Brazil exhibited the highest natural methane emissions at 42.04 Mt/a,with soil deposition at 4.03u106 Mt/a and net emissions at 38.01 Mt/a,comprising 90.4% of the total natural emissions.In contrast,China's natural emissions were the lowest at 6.23 Mt/a,but it had a high soil deposition absorption rate of 28.9%.In the United States and India,high concentrations of methane were primarily from both anthropogenic and natural sources.Specifically,in the United States,anthropogenic methane sources accounted for 7.0% of emissions,while natural wetland methane sources comprised 6.2%.In India,anthropogenic sources also made up 8.4% of emissions,with natural wetland sources accounting for 5.2%.The results provide an important basis for high methane-emitting countries to develop emission reduction strategies,thereby helping to achieve global climate goals.关键词
