Industrial Digitization,Technological Progress and Domestic Value Chain Division of Labor

Abstract
After conducting a theoretical analysis of the impact of industrial digitalization on the division of labor in the do-mestic value chain and the mediating effect of technological progress,this paper constructs a dynamic panel model based on the data of 30 provinces in China from 2012 to 2023 to carry out empirical analysis.The research results show that industrial digitiza-tion has a significant positive impact on the division of labor in the domestic value chain,and that the conclusion is still valid after robustness test and endogeneity treatment.Heterogeneity test results show that industrial digitization has a differentiated enhance-ment effect on the division of labor in domestic value chains located in different regions and links.Specifically,it has a significant promoting effect on the level of value chain division of labor in inland regions and upstream division of labor,while its impact on coastal regions and downstream division of labor is not significant.Mediating effect test results show that the promoting effect of in-dustrial digitization on the division of labor in the domestic value chain can be achieved through the path of technological progress.In order to establish a scientific and reasonable division of labor pattern of the domestic value chain,it is necessary to improve the level of industrial digitization development,implement differentiated strategies of domestic value chain division of labor,and pro-mote the coordinated development of technological progress.关键词
