Influence of Digital Trade on the Rise of Global Value Chain Position
摘要
Abstract
Digital trade is a new type of trade mode resulting from the deep integration of digital technology and traditional trade.Its development has become a key point for countries to establish new competitive advantages,and it is also a new driving force for countries to participate in the division of labor in the global value chain.This paper constructs a digital trade evaluation index system to evaluate the digital trade level of 28 Belt and Road partner countries,and then measures the global value chain po-sition index and upstream degree index of each country on this basis.Finally,the paper empirically analyzes the impact of digital trade on a country's global value chain position,and examines the moderating effect of institutional quality.The study finds that the influence of digital trade level on a country's global value chain position shows a pattern of suppression first and then promo-tion,and that the institutional quality can positively regulate the influence of digital trade on the position in the global value chain.关键词
