Abstract
Objective To explore the screening results and influencing factors of abnormal refraction in preschool children at Children's Health Care Clinic of a hospital.Methods The clinical information of 1219 preschool children who underwent refractive screening for eye health care at the Children's Health Care Clinic of Zhongshan Gangkou Hospital from January 2023 to February 2024 was collected.The occurrence of abnormal refraction was statistically analyzed and univariate and multivariate analyses were conducted.Results Among the 1219 preschool children included,58 cases(4.76%)had abnormal refractive screening results and were classified as the occurrence group.The refractive screening results of 1161 cases(95.24%)showed no abnormalities and were classified as the non-occurrence group.The history of abnormal refraction in close relatives,the duration of close-range eye use,unreasonable diet,the daily outdoor activity time,and eye care behaviors in the occurrence group were compared with those in the non-occurrence group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).History of abnormal refraction in close relatives,duration of close-range eye use,and unreasonable diet were risk factors for abnormal refraction in preschool children(P<0.05).Daily outdoor activity time and eye care behaviors were protective factors for refractive abnormalities in preschool children(P<0.05).Conclusion Abnormal refraction in preschool children are related to factors such as the history of abnormal refraction in close relatives,the duration of close-range eye use,unreasonable diet,daily outdoor activity time,and eye care behaviors.Targeted prevention and control measures can be formulated to protect children's vision health.关键词
