摘要

Abstract

Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE)has a linear long-chain structure with low branching.This unique microstructure gives it superior wear resistance,self-lubrication,insulation and chemical inertia.In recent years,UHMWPE applications have expanded from conventional areas like gas pipelines and sliding components to advanced fields such as lithium-ion battery separators,medical materials,bulletproof vests and aircraft turbine blades,covering industries like manufacturing,new energy,aerospace and defense.The UHMWPE industry now has a highly competitive and concentrated market.To overcome development bottlenecks,there's an urgent need to break through in UHMWPE modification and application technologies,which faces new opportunities and challenges.The paper focuses on UHMWPE research progress in lithium-ion battery separators,high-strength fibers and thermally conductive films.It analyzes how microstructural adjustments(such as crystallinity and entanglement degree)affect properties like thermal conductivity and wear resistance,and explores the challenges and future development directions.
