Abstract

To address the low correlation between single-band reflectance and water quality parameters in hyperspectral remote sensing data,as well as the low accuracy of inversion models,this study optimized and compared water quality parameter retrieval models by constructing three dual-band spectral indices including NDSI,RSI,and DSI.Based on the correlation analysis method,the characteristic bands with the highest correlation coefficient between the water quality parameter test data and the dual-band spectral indices were selected to construct the water quality parameter retrieval model.R2,RMSE,MAE and MAPE were used to evaluate the accuracy of the model.Results demonstrated that,compared to single-band reflectance,dual-band spectral indices exhibited significantly higher correlation coefficients with water quality parameters,thereby improving model accuracy.The index model constructed by NDSI(687,681)and CODMn achieved the highest accuracy(R2=0.709),and the lowest was DSI(669,690)constructed with quadratic polynomial model with NH3-N(R2=0.384).The constructed inversion model of water quality parameters has a good inversion effect in the hyperspectral UAV,enabling their direct application for monitoring water quality in small-scale aquatic systems such as urban rivers and tributaries when integrated with hyperspectral data.
