摘要

Abstract

The Mobile Switching Center(MSC)is the most core network element of the railway GSM-R network,controlling the establishment and release of global mobile user calls,and providing interface functions to other adjacent offices.This paper takes the case of the abnormal status of the inter-office trunk circuit between Shanghai MSC and Beijing and Wuhan TMSC(Tandem Mobile Switching Center)after the switching of the WCCU(Wireless Call Control Unit)module of an MSC device.Using the comparative analysis method,together with network signaling,system logs,and equipment software parameter configurations,a detailed study is conducted.The possible causes of equipment failure are identified through troubleshooting,and effective and timely emergency response is implemented.Finally,the problem is successfully identified as the failure of inter-office calls caused by unreasonable software parameter settings.After the adjustment of the software parameters,this problem is successfully solved,providing reference for daily maintenance,fault analysis,emergency response,etc.of the railway GSM-R core network.
