Abstract

This paper analyzed the quality inspection data of 9 852 fresh camel milk samples from a biotechnology enterprise in Keping County,Xinjiang from 2023.The research aimed to determine the significant differences in various indicators of camel milk between different seasons throughout the year and to analyze the correlations among milk components.The average fat content of the milk from the Bactrian camels in the Tarim Basin was(7.28±1.62)%,non-fat milk solids(11.54±1.08)%,lactose(6.44±0.56)%,solids not fat(0.96±0.22)%,protein(4.11±0.37)%,and ash(0.99±0.43)%.The results showed that there were extremely significant differences in fat,non-fat milk solids,density,lactose,solids not fat,and protein content of camel milk among different seasons.Therefore,the reproductive and productive cycles of Bactrian camels have distinct seasonal characteristics,which directly affect the seasonal variations in camel milk production and its physicochemical properties throughout the year.This cyclical change leads to significant differences in the quality of camel milk among different seasons.
