Abstract
Fowl adenovirus disease(FAdV),also known as Ankara virus,is an acute and highly lethal infectious disease caused by serotype 4 of group I adenovirus.This disease occurs in broilers,laying hens and Sanhuang chickens,and chickens of different ages can be infected.It has a high mortality rate and a fast transmission speed.In order to verify the immunoprotective effect of the combined inactivated vaccines against Newcastle disease,avian influenza(subtype H9)and fowl adenovirus disease(group I serotype 4)produced by different manufacturers on the prevalent strains of fowl adenovirus disease(group I serotype 4),healthy and susceptible specific-pathogen-free(SPF)chickens aged 21 to 28 days were immunized with the combined inactivated vaccines for poultry.After immunization,the chickens were continuously observed for 21 days,and all the immunized groups showed good spirit and appetite.At 21 days after immunization,the chickens were challenged with the prevalent strain SD70 of fowl adenovirus(group I serotype 4).All the immunized groups were 100%protected,while all the chickens in the control group were 100%infected and 90%of them died.The test results show that the combined inactivated vaccines for chickens produced by different manufacturers have good immunoprotective effects and can resist the attack of the prevalent strain SD70 of adenovirus.关键词
