Abstract
The purpose is to find a reasonable addition of lactic acid fermented traditional Chinese medicine in beef cattle feed and promote healthy and efficient breeding of beef cattle,and to explore the effect of lactic acid fermented traditional Chinese medicine feed additives on the growth performance of cattle.120 healthy Simmental cattle were selected as experimental animals,randomly numbered,and evenly divided into 4 groups.Each group contained 5 identical replicate experiments,and each replicate unit contained 6 cattle.The control group was fed with a basic diet,while experimental groups 1,2,and 3 were additionally fed with 2%,4%,and 8%ratios of lactic acid bacteria fermented traditional Chinese medicine in the basic diet,respectively.The experimental period is 90 days.The experimental group 3's beef cattle had significantly higher data indicators such as final body weight,average daily weight gain,body length,pre slaughter live weight,and carcass weight than the control group and the beef cattle in experimental groups 1 and 2(P<0.05),while their feed to weight ratio was significantly lower than the other two experimental groups and the control group(P<0.05).The chest circumference,cross height,and eye muscle area of beef cattle in the three experimental groups were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Adding 8%lactic acid bacteria fermented traditional Chinese medicine to beef cattle feed can significantly improve various growth indicators and body size indicators of beef cattle,improve slaughter performance,and promote growth performance improvement.关键词
