Energy Efficiency Optimization for Space-Air-Ground Integrated Networks in Maritime Communications

Abstract
To address the issues of limited coverage and the difficulty in balancing rate and energy efficiency in maritime communications,an energy efficiency optimization scheme for maritime space-air-ground integrated networks(SAGIN)based on dynamic path selection is proposed.This scheme integrates shore-based stations,low Earth orbit(LEO)satellites,unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV)and high-altitude platforms(HAP)equipped with reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)for collaborative communications.By jointly optimizing the two-dimensional UAV trajectory,RIS phase configurations,and dynamic path selection,the scheme maximizes the energy efficiency while expanding communication coverage under the constraint of meeting communication rate thresholds.Simulation results demonstrate that compared with traditional single maritime communication schemes,the proposed one achieves a balance between energy efficiency and communication rate.Under comparable energy efficiency levels,communication rate is improved by approximately 3-4 times,while the coverage radius of shore-based station is extended by approximately 2-3 times.关键词
