An Optimized 6G Vehicular Satellite Handover Scheme under Extreme Weather Conditions

Abstract
The rapid development of low Earth orbit satellites and intelligent vehicle technology has driven vehicular satellite communication to become a key component of 6G networks.While intelligent vehicles have advantages in terms of power and antenna deployment,the millimeter-wave frequency band is prone to severe attenuation in extreme weather conditions.Existing handover algorithms are designed for low-speed terminals and lack millimeter-wave link modeling,making them unsuitable for the dynamic environment of vehicular networks.Therefore,this paper proposes a handover scheme that combines signal strength,path loss,and CNR to improve link stability and adaptability.Simulation results show that the proposed scheme increases the service time by 16.9%and throughput by 397.2%under extreme weather conditions,demonstrating its application potential in 6G vehicular communication.关键词
