摘要
Abstract
Lumpy skin disease(LSD)as a serious disease threatening global livestock industry was focused in the paper, its global prevalence characteristics and driving mechanisms were further analyzed based on the data ranging from 2023 to 2024 extracted from the database(WAHIS)of the World Organization for Animal Health. In terms of its spatial and temporal distribution, the disease was prevalent at a high level in Asia, characterized by regional clustering and seasonal characteristics,in contrast to its status in Africa and Europe.Key transmission driving mechanisms were identified, including climate-vector coupling effects, hidden transmission of subclinical infection in buffalos, synergistic interaction between high-density farming and immunity gaps, failure of transboundary movement regulation and gaps in implementation of biosafety measures. It was found that,by comparing the control measures taken by the countries bordering China that were representative in disease prevention and control, the disease outbreak was effectively controlled by virtue of rapid diagnosis, high culling rate, compulsory vaccination coverage and reasonable compensation mechanism in Japan and the Repablic of Korea. In order to optimize China's control strategies against LSD,the following pathways were proposed:to improve early warning system and to construct a prediction model;to improve vaccine research and development, striving for safe and efficient DNA vaccines or multivalent vaccines;to innovate management modes, and to popularize a custodian-type farming model;and to participate in international cooperation to establish a joint prevention and control mechanism.A reference was provided by the study to optimize relevant national control strategies, guiding future researches.关键词
