Research Progress on Antiviral Drugs Against Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus
摘要
Abstract
Porcine epidemic diarrhea(PED)is an acute intestinal infectious disease caused by porcine epidemic diarrhea virus(PEDV),characterized by acute watery diarrhea,vomiting,and dehydration.Piglets are the most susceptible,with mortality rates reaching up to 100%,posing a serious threat to the sustainable development of the swine industry.Due to the high mutation rate of RNA viruses,current vaccines fail to provide effective immune protection against circulating PEDV strains,making disease control challenging.Therefore,the development of novel antiviral drugs against PEDV has become a critical focus in current research.This paper reviews and discusses the antiviral efficacy and mechanisms of PEDV-targeted and host-targeted drugs,aiming to provide reference for clinical medication against PEDV.关键词
