摘要

Abstract

In order to investigate the prevalence of bovine and ovine brucellosis(hereinafter referred to as"brucellosis")in a county-level city in Shandong Province,and to find out possible risk factors,a case-control study was conducted.27 villages identified as positive in a preliminary screening were assigned to the case group,while all negative villages under the same township as the positive villages were designated as the control group.Data were collected via electronic questionnaires,and 17 risk factors were analyzed using logistic regression.The results showed that"introducing animals through brokers"(OR=4.199,95%CI:1.741-10.125),"no quarantine practices for introduced animals"(OR=4.442,95%CI:1.468-13.440),and"inventory≥100 heads(animals)"(OR=6.777,95%CI:2.922-15.718)were considered as the major risk factors leading to the prevalence of brucellosis in the city.In conclusion,brokers,quarantine for introduced animals and inventory were related to the prevalence of brucellosis in the region.It was recommended to improve broker registration management and quarantine supervision for introduced animals,and to intensively monitor villages with the inventory≥100 heads(animals),for the purposes of sustainable prevention and control of brucellosis.
