Research Progress on Acupuncture Anesthesia in Animal Surgery
摘要
Abstract
Acupuncture anesthesia,as an independent or adjunctive anesthesia method,is commonly combined with pharmacological anesthesia to form an acupuncture-pharmaceutical combined anesthesia.It is a paradigm of integrative traditional Chinese and Western medicine,offering multiple advantages such as being economical,safe,having minimal physiological interference,and promoting rapid postoperative recovery.This method is widely used in clinical practice for animal surgeries.The analgesic effect of acupuncture anesthesia has been well established,and significant progress has been made in the study of its mechanisms.However,more detailed research into these mechanisms is still needed.This article analyzes the mechanisms,methods of action,and recent applications of acupuncture anesthesia and acupuncture-pharmaceutical combined anesthesia in animal surgery,highlighting both their advantages and limitations.Furthermore,it discusses the new anesthesia model of"preoperative induction,intraoperative anesthesia,and postoperative analgesia,"with the aim of effectively applying it in veterinary practice to improve overall animal welfare.关键词
