Abstract
GB/T 40108-2021,Evaluation of humanities and social sciences journals, serves as a crucial national benchmark for assessing humanities and social sciences journals in China, and it has to some extent guided journal construction and management. However, with the new-era features such as digital transformation, interdisciplinary integration, and international dissemination, the standard's original three dimensions, such as"attractiveness,""management capability,"and"impact,"have limitations in their indicator system and evaluation methodologies.Based on a review of the standard's characteristics and content, and by incorporating national policies along with the latest Western evaluation trends, this paper examines the critical elements that require revision. It further proposes optimization recommendations for indicators related to digital transformation, interdisciplinary integration, and editorial and publication processes,as well as international and diversified evaluation. The objective is to more accurately reflect the comprehensive strengths of journals in the new era of publication and provide both theoretical and practical references for the future improvement of the standard.关键词
