Expert consensus on diagnosis and treatment of prevalent primary headache disorders in Guangxi headaches with integrative traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine

Abstract
With the development of society,the incidence of primary headaches in China has been increasing annually.The unique geography,climate,and cultural environment have given birth to the Gui medicine,a Guangxi branch of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)with regional characteristics.As an important part of traditional Chinese medicine,it has played a significant role in the prevention and treatment of primary headaches in the Guangxi region.To summarize the experience of diagnosis and treatment of primary headaches with integrated Gui medicine,traditional Chinese medicine,and western medicine,the Traditional Chinese Medicine Encephalopathy Professional Committee of Guangxi Medical Doctor Association specially organized experts in relevant fields to review the latest domestic and international research evidence and evidence-based medicine principles,reached a unified consensus through thorough deliberation,and formulated this consensus statement.This consensus summarized the principles of diagnosis and treatment of primary headaches with integrative Gui medicine,traditional Chinese medicine,and western medicine,aiming to provide a reference for clinical practice.关键词
