Abstract
Praziquantel is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic drug.In this study,a praziquantel chewable tablet was developed with anthelmintic activity against dog tapeworms.A high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)method was established and validated for determining the dissolution of praziquantel chewable tablets,and a model-independent approach was used to evaluate the dissolution similarity between the developed tablets and commercial ones.The HPLC method showed good linearity at 10-50 pg/mL,with a recovery of 98.67％-101.8％ and a relative standard deviation(RSD)of 0.38％ for injection precision.The dissolution of the developed and commercial tablets was then determined.The results indicated that three batches of developed praziquantel chewable tablets had dissolution profiles similar to the commercial product,showing in-vitro dissolution equivalence.In conclusion,the developed praziquantel chewable tablets are comparable to commercial ones in key indicators and dissolution behavior,providing a basis for further equivalence studies.关键词
