The Host E3 Ligase MARCH1 Antiviral Advances

Abstract
E3 ubiquitin ligase plays an important role in regulation of intracellular proteins translocation.The host cell MARCH 1 protein is a member of the E3 ubiquitin RING ligase family and executes crucial function in regulating cellular immuno-recognition and immune responses.Recent researches indicate that MARCH 1 molecule also acts actively in cellular immunity against viral infections.At present,there are two typical types of antiviral modes available for MARCH 1.On the one hand,MARCH 1 recognizes the intracellular terminal sequence of viral proteins 1and induces their ubiquitination,thereby targeting them into the intracellular degradation pathways;on the other hand,MARCH 1 retains the viral envelope glycoprotein intracellularly,thereby blocking the viral assembly and the corresponding infection cycles.Here,in this review,we will illustrate the specific antiviral mechanisms of MARCH 1 in the two antiviral modes,which should be beneficial for subsequent antiviral researches.关键词
