Analysis of the Differentiation and Treatment of Insomnia Accompanied by Anxiety and Depression Based on the Theory of"Depression Causes Disease,Disease and Depression Treated Together"
摘要
Abstract
Insomnia accompanied by anxiety and depression tends to relapse frequently.Clinical treatments often involve sedatives,anti-anxiety,and anti-depressant medications. While effective, these treatments can be addictive, impair mental and cognitive functions, and have poor long-term efficacy.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)posits that the heart governs the blood and the spirit;the liver governs the storage of blood and the soul, and regulates emotional balance. When the heart and liver are not in harmony, and the spirit and soul are disturbed, insomnia accompanied by anxiety and depression occurs, which aligns with the characteristics of the"dual-heart disease"pattern. This paper explores the differentiation and treatment of insomnia with anxiety and depression based on the theory of"depression causes disease, disease and depression treated together."The pathogenesis is identified as the disharmony between the heart and liver, resulting in the loss of the spirit and soul. The fundamental cause of the disease is the deficiency of heart and liver blood, which fails to nourish the spirit. The key to the disease is the six types of depression. The treatment approach proposes that if there is deficiency, the heart and liver should be nourished to restore harmony between the spirit and soul;if there is excess, the disease-related stagnation should be treated together by dredging all types of depression, ultimately achieving a better therapeutic outcome.关键词
