摘要

Abstract

The aromatic indica rice maintainer line Longxiang 634B was crossed with the two-line male sterile line Zhun S,and then crossed with the maintainer line M16B(a selected line of Ⅱ-32B).After multiple generations of selection and planting,the preferred single plant was selected and crossed with Longxiang 634A and backcrossed for many generations to develop the WA-type CMS line Minsheng A.The amylose content of the sterile line is as high as 25.3%.It has compact plant type with erect,short and narrow V-shape leaves,stable male sterility,high stigma exsertion rate,strong combining ability and relatively high amylose content in its F,hybrids.In 2019,it was technically identified as a sterile line in Hunan Province,and the new plant variety right was obtained in 2023.At present,eight hybrid rice combinations derived from Minsheng A have been approved by the national or provincial crop variety appraisal committees in China.
