Breeding and Application of New High-quality Medium Indica Hybrid Rice Combination Ganyou Yuntaisimiao

Abstract
Ganyou Yuntaisimiao,derived from CMS line Gan 73A and restorer line R228,is a new medium indica hybrid rice combination developed by Lianyungang Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Rice Research Institute of Jiangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences.This combination had an average growth period of 149.9 days,1.3 days longer than that of the control Fengliangyou 4,an average yield of 8.70 t/hm2,4.90％higher than that of the control Fengliangyou 4,was moderately resistant to rice blast and its grain quality reached the first grade of the ministry standard in the regional trials for medium indica hybrid rice of 'crayfish-rice cocultivation' of the consortium of scientific research units and enterprises in Jiangsu Province.It was registered and released by Jiangsu Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2024.关键词
