Abstract
This paper explores the characteristics of nomadic culture and its design value as reflected in traditional furniture from the northern grasslands.China is a multi-ethnic country,and the northern nomadic peoples have historically held a significant position.Unique geographical conditions and lifestyle habits have influenced the functionality and development of traditional furniture,resulting in a distinctive nomadic furniture culture.The Mongolian people ingeniously utilize the limited space within the yurt to meet diverse functional needs.This study analyzes the characteristics of nomadic culture and its reference value for furniture design,using artifacts unearthed in Inner Mongolia and traditional furniture of northern grassland nomadic peoples as examples.The aim is to provide a theoretical basis and inspiration for design thinking in contemporary ethnic and regional style design.关键词
