摘要

Abstract

Through designing room-temperature compression experiments with 50%deformation,this study investigated the microstructural evolution and work hardening behavior of TiC/316L stainless steel matrix composites fabricated by laser metal deposition during plastic deformation,revealing the influence of TiC content on material work hardening characteristics.The results demonstrate that the modified Ludwik model can fit the true stress-true strain data of TiC/316L composites nonlinearly,accurately establishing both the true stress-strain model and work hardening model with a correlation coefficient of 0.98.The work hardening behavior of TiC/316L composites occurs in the compression process,and the work hardening curves of all parameters conform to the rheological stress variation law.The increase of TiC content increases the work hardening rate,but decreases when it is increased to 2%,which may be related to the agglomeration of TiC particles.After cold deformation,the microstructure of TiC/316L composites displayed characteristics including grains elongated along the compression direction,interrupted epitaxial growth trend,and cellular substructure refinement.
