摘要

Abstract

With the rapid development of the automotive industry,lightweight design has become an important means to improve vehicle performance and fuel economy.Disc brake is an important part of automobile brake system,and its lightweight design is of great significance to improve the safety and comfort of the whole vehicle.The light weight design of key parts of disc brake is studied according to the stress condition of disc brake under braking condition.Firstly,the working principle of the brake caliper is introduced in detail,and the stress distribution and deformation of each part are obtained by static analysis.Then,for the main parts such as brake calipers and brake discs,the method of combining material lightweight and size optimization is used to carry out lightweight design.Finally,the reliability of lightweight design is verified by transient dynamic analysis and fatigue analysis,and the requirements of yield strength and tensile strength of each material are met.The lightweight design of the brake caliper plays a crucial role in enhancing both the safety and comfort of the vehi-cle.
