教育强国建设背景下我国高校类型化发展:历程、挑战与方向
Typological Development of China's Colleges and Universities under the Background of Building a Powerful Education Country:History,Challenges and Directions

Abstract
Under the background of building a powerful education country,research-oriented,application-oriented,and skill-oriented colleges and universities collectively support the construction goal of China's"self-improving and excellent higher education system".They shoulder the common mission of implementing the fundamental task of strengthening moral education and cultivating talents,nurturing talents for the Party and the country,and comprehensively serving the construction of Chinese-style modernization,while also bearing unique responsibilities respectively.By reviewing and exploring the developmental history and typological characteristics of these three types of colleges and universities,it is found that research-oriented colleges and universities typically feature"cultivating top-notch innovative talents,promoting interdisciplinary integration of disciplines,and tackling cutting-edge scientific and technological challenges for the country".Application-oriented colleges and universities are characterized by"operating in alignment with regional economic and social development,emphasizing an application-oriented approach in integrating disciplines and majors,and primarily focusing on undergraduate education supplemented by specialized master's degree programs".Skill-oriented colleges and universities exhibit typical characteristics such as"cultivating both professionalism and skillfulness,developing market-oriented professional clusters,and establishing a deep integration mechanism between industry and education".To address the practical challenges faced by the three types of colleges and universities in their development,under the background of building a powerful education country,the development directions for the three types of colleges and universities are as follows:research-oriented colleges and universities should cultivate top-notch innovative talents to serve major national strategic needs;application-oriented colleges and universities should nurture high-level application-oriented talents to promote the transformation and upgrading of local industries;skill-oriented colleges and universities should cultivate highly skilled talents such as master craftsmen to shape a new form of integration between industry and education.关键词
