Current Situation,Differentiation Characterization and Improvement Strategies of the Attractiveness of Vocational Undergraduate Education Enrollment

Abstract
In order to objectively present the real situation of the attractiveness of vocational undergraduate education enrollment,based on the 2024 general college entrance examination enrollment data of vocational undergraduate colleges,two key indicators were selected to judge the real situation of the attractiveness of vocational undergraduate education enrollment:"the difference between the minimum admission score line of vocational undergraduate colleges in their province and the undergraduate admission line in their province"and"the percentile of the minimum admission score line of vocational undergraduate colleges in their province among all undergraduate admission colleges in the province".After statistical analysis,it was found that the overall attractiveness of vocational undergraduate education enrollment is at a medium to low level,and there is significant differentiation within it.The attractiveness of vocational undergraduate colleges in the eastern region is significantly higher than that of colleges in the central and western regions,and the attractiveness is the lowest in the central region.The attractiveness of public vocational undergraduate colleges is significantly higher than that of private vocational undergraduate colleges.Vocational undergraduate colleges upgraded from the"double-high plan"construction units have higher attractiveness.Based on the research results,the attractiveness of vocational undergraduate education enrollment urgently needs to be further enhanced through measures such as adhering to the development positioning of type education,filling the key shortcomings of private undergraduate education,and implementing major project guidance.关键词
