Reform and Practice of Inquiry-based Teaching Mode of Horticultural Plant Breeding Course Under the Background of New Agri-cultural Science—Taking Jiangxi Agricultural University as an Example

摘要

Abstract

Horticultural plant breeding is one of the core courses for horticulture majors in agricultural and forestry universities in China.Under the background of new agricultural science,it is urgent to change the traditional teaching mode of this course and cultivate breeding talents who adapted to the development of the new era.Taking Jiangxi Agricultural University as an example,we carried out the course reform from the opti-mization of teaching syllabus,mining of situational problems,the improvement of teaching methods,the optimization of course performance e-valuation system,etc..And we constructed an inquiry-based teaching mode that met the requirements of new agricultural science.The teaching practice showed that the inquiry-based teaching mode had an effective effect,and the students'academic record,independent learning ability and teamwork consciousness were all significantly improved,which laid the foundation for cultivating high-quality horticultural professionals.
