摘要

Abstract

Soft soil foundation has the characteristics of high water content,low water permeability and high compressibility.Under the action of road self-weight and traffic load,it is very easy to deform and settle,which leads to a long settlement period after the subgrade construction,thereby increasing the construction difficulty and cost.To address these issues,urban construction waste materials were utilized to improve and reinforce the soft ground foundation.The mechanical characteristics of raw material soft soil and construction waste were studied through the laboratory experiments and EDEM discrete element numerical simulations.The compaction model of soft ground foundation filled with construction waste was established.Taking porosity and density as indicators,the influence of changes in the form of waste filling(particle size distribution,filling amount)and construction technology(rolling times,rolling rate)on the compaction characteristics of soft soil was analyzed.The optimal waste filling parameters and construction methods for improving the foundation had been obtained.
