Abstract
In order to clarify the effect of seed surface disinfectants on the disinfection effect and germina-tion of tartary buckwheat,this experiment uses Sichuan buckwheat No.1 seeds as test materials,and se-lects 5 commonly used disinfectants(NaClO,KMnO4,H2O2,CuSO4,and 75%ethanol),prepares differ-ent disinfection concentrations(1%,1.5%,2%,2.5%,and 3%),sets different disinfection times(10,15,20,25,and 30 min),uses the L25(41 × 52)orthogonal test,and use seed germination,seedling growth,embryo rupture rate,abnormal germination rate and mold rate as inspection indicators to compre-hensively analyze the effects of different disinfectants treatment methods on the disinfection effect and ger-mination of tartary buckwheat seeds.The results show that there are significant differences in the disinfec-tion effects of different disinfectants on tartary buckwheat seeds.Among them,NaClO and KMnO4 have the best disinfection effects,the highest seed vitality index,high germination rate,and low mold rate.H2O2 treatment has little damage to seeds.However,the disinfection is not complete,the contamination rate is high,and the ideal disinfection effect cannot be achieved.The tartary buckwheat seeds treated with CuSO4 have the smallest contamination rate,and this disinfectant inhibits the growth of tartary buckwheat seed-lings and root systems,and should not be used.75%ethanol treatment has harmful effects on seeds and seedlings.It is highly toxic,causing most seeds to break and germinate abnormally.It also has the highest mold rate and the lowest germination rate,so it is not recommended.In summary,the suitable disinfection condition for tartary buckwheat seed germination is 1%with NaClO treatment for 10 min.This study pro-vides an important theoretical reference for tartary buckwheat seed germination experiments and related production.关键词
