摘要
Abstract
This paper studies a model of a photon-enhanced thermionic emission-thermoelectric hybrid power generation system with the full-spectrum absorption of solar energy serving as the heat source.Both theoretical models of near-field thermal radiation effect and the space charge effect are taken into consid-eration.When the gap distance between the plates is reduced to the micro-nano scale,this contributes to reducing the influence of the space charge effect between the plates.Nevertheless,it is discovered that a-long with the decrease in plate spacing,the thermal radiation loss is augmented substantially,even excee-ding that of blackbody radiation by several orders of magnitude.After striking a balance between the space charge effect and the near-field thermal radiation loss,an optimal gap distance is identified.Simultaneous-ly,the impact of the cathode electron affinity on the performance of the hybrid power generation is also ex-plored.This work is beneficial to enhancing the comprehension of the energy transfer and conversion processes within the photon-enhanced thermionic emission-thermoelectric hybrid power generation system devices,and this study can provide guidance for optimization design.关键词
