Abstract
For the dissimilar steel welding joint of T91/TP304H subcritical boiler superheater pipes that have been in opera-tion for nearly 93,000 hours,systematic microstructure observation,mechanical property testing,and creep rupture perfor-mance analysis were carried out using instruments and equipment such as metallographic microscope,Vickers hardness tes-ter,universal testing machine,and scanning electron microscope.The study found that after long-term high-temperature ser-vice,the tissues of both T91 and TP304H steel pipe samples showed significant aging characteristics.Specifically,on the T91 side,M23C6 phase,Laves phase,and MX phase precipitated at the grain boundaries,while on the TP304H side,Cr-rich M23C6 phase precipitated at the grain boundaries.The aging levels of the joint tissues were both between 3 to 3.5.The frac-ture locations of the high-temperature tensile test and the creep rupture test were both near the fusion line on the T91 side,in-dicating that this area is the weak zone of the joint.Moreover,through the temperature curve extrapolation method,the esti-mated residual life of the T91 side was calculated to be 55,000 hours,while that of the TP304H side was 50,500 hours.How-ever,the overall performance of the joint has deteriorated,and its reliability for safe operation has decreased.关键词
