摘要

Abstract

This study developed an STM32 microcontroller-based automatic MAG welding control system for nuclear con-tainment structures,specifically designed to overcome technical challenges in welding large-scale carbon steel pipelines(>8-inch diameter)and mechanical penetrations(>6 mm wall thickness)during horizontal,vertical,and air carbon arc gouging operations.The system addressed critical issues including low welding efficiency,process instability,and high labor inten-sity in nuclear facility construction.A multi-level collaborative control architecture was established,integrating a main con-trol unit,sensor networks,servo drive circuits,and adaptive control algorithms to achieve precise automation of welding pro-cesses.A Vue3+Electron software platform was implemented for real-time monitoring and dynamic optimization of welding parameters(current,voltage,travel speed),ensuring compliance with stringent nuclear-grade quality standards.Experimen-tal validation and field applications in nuclear power projects demonstrated stable system operation and significant improve-ments in welding consistency.The solution effectively reduced rework rates and minimized manual intervention while main-taining process safety.Its modular design allows extensibility to large-scale storage tank welding applications,providing an innovative technical framework for nuclear equipment manufacturing.
