Abstract
This article studies the extraction and separation process of impurity metals(such as manganese,copper,zinc,calcium)in cobalt containing raw materials,aiming to reduce the pressure of subsequent cobalt refining processes.A purification process using P204 as an impurity extractant was reported,and the effects of organic phase composition,aqueous phase acidity,mixing time,and phase ratio on the extraction,washing,and back extraction processes were investigated using a simulated solution of African cobalt intermediate product leachate as the raw material.The optimized process conditions include:organic phase(25%P204+75%sulfonated kerosene),aqueous phase pH 4.09,a ratio of 1:1,room temperature(about 25℃),and a mixing time of 3 minutes;The washing conditions are sulfuric acid concentration of 0.5 mol/L,compared to 15:1;The reverse extraction conditions are sulfuric acid concentration of 2.2 mol/L,compared to 10:1.This process has achieved good impurity element extraction and separation effects,providing theoretical reference and data support for the refining of intermediate products of cobalt ore.关键词
