Application progress of different reconstruction algorithms in low-dose abdominal computed tomography scanning

Abstract
Abdominal CT examinations,characterized by broad anatomical coverage and multiphase scanning protocols,pose significant challenges in radiation dose control.Merely adjusting hardware parameters often fails to balance radiation reduction with diagnostic image quality.As a core technology that breaks through traditional hardware limitations,reconstruction algorithms have shown great potential in the field of low-dose abdominal CT.This review systematically examines the developmental trajectory,clinical applications,and limitations of conventional filtered back projection(FBP),iterative reconstruction(IR)and deep learning image reconstruction algorithms in low-dose abdominal CT.A focused analysis is provided on the technical principles,clinical application value,and potential shortcomings of mainstream algorithms such as ASIR-V and TrueFidelityTM,aims to establish a theoretical foundation for selecting optimal reconstruction protocols in clinical practice and proposes future directions for algorithm refinement(such as integration with spectral CT and photon-counting detector technologies).关键词
