Y-shaped dilated drainage sheath combined with non tubular percutaneous nephrolithotripsy for the treatment of upper urinary tract stones

Abstract
Objective:To explore the application value of Y-shaped dilated drainage sheath combined with non tubular percutaneous nephrolithotripsy(PCNL)in the treatment of upper urinary tract stones.Methods:A total of 74 cases with upper urinary tract stones admitted to Yuancheng District People's Hospital from April 2023 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group and a study group,with 37 cases in each group.The control group received standard PCNL,while the study group received Y-shaped dilated drainage sheath combined with non tubular PCNL.The treatment effects of the two groups of patients were compared.Results:Compared with the control group,the study group had shorter surgical time,shorter hospital stay,higher stone free rate,lower hospitalization costs,lower intraoperative bleeding,lower incidence of infection complications within 4 days after surgery,and lower postoperative pain.The proportion of using opioid analgesics was lower,and lower postoperative pain,and lower proportion of using opioid analgesics,all with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Y-shaped dilated drainage sheath with non tubular PCNL for the treatment of upper urinary tract stones can shorten surgical time,hospitalization cycle,improve stone free rate;reduce hospitalization costs,intraoperative bleeding,postoperative infection complications and pain.It is recommended to use Y-shaped dilated drainage sheath combined with non tubular PCNL more widely in specific patients without contraindications for the treatment of upper urinary tract stones.关键词
