Abstract

To reduce air and noise pollution and operate in the environment without direct power supply from the state grid,a battery powered electric driven track chassis has been designed.Because drilling machine needs to be constructed in tunnels with limited height,it is necessary to minimize the height of crawler chassis as much as possible,and the track plate should be wear-resistant and suitable for operation in various environments.Therefore,a heavy-duty track plate that are cast as a whole is selected in the design,with a motor power of 30 kW and a gearbox reduction ratio of 88.23.Initially,conventional heavy-duty track friction plate was used,but after testing,it was found that internal friction caused excessive power consumption,which could not meet customer requirements.Therefore,EX55 support wheel were used instead.After 2 hours of non-stop full load walking tests,it was proved that this scheme can meet customer requirements,and the test data collected can provide reference for similar track chassis design in the future.
