Abstract
The Hongliugedajing iron mine is a magmatic differentiated ilmenite deposit,with the main ore-bearing rocks of fine-grained gabbro containing magnetite and ilmenite,which exhibits a whole-rock mineralization characteristic.The intrusive body shows a westward extension trend,and magnetic anomalies are also present in the western part of mining area,which have not been fully investigated and indicates good exploration potential in the west.This study employed a combination of ground high-precision magnetic surveys,induced polarization(IP)gradient measurements and IP sounding to carry out mineral exploration in the western part of Hongliugedajing iron ore district.Based on a systematic analysis of the ore-forming processes and geophysical response characteristics,four gabbroic intrusions and one concealed mafic-ultramafic body were identified.Integrated with IP anomaly data,the ore-forming potential of these rock bodies was comprehensively evaluated.The results indicate that two of the identified zones exhibit high prospectivity and were delineated as exploration targets,which provides a scientific basis for subsequent drilling deployment.关键词
