3000 m scientific drilling technology at Shuiwangzhuang of Zhaoyuan in Shandong

Abstract
Deep mineral exploration is relatively lagging behind at Zhaoping fault which is one of the three major mineralization faults in northwest Jiaodong peninsula.Through theoretical research and analysis on structurally similar mining areas,a new exploration idea of"symmetrical mineralization in metallogenic depth and ore body scale of three major mineralization faults in northwest Jiaodong peninsula"has been proposed and a 3000 m scientific drilling hole was designed and implemented at Shuiwangzhuang mining area of Zhaoping fault.In order to solve the problems of insufficient equipment reliability,low construction efficiency and complex accident handling in deep hole drilling,the XY-8 drilling machine has been upgraded for this project,and the self-developed diamond bit has been used.At the same time,the controllable gel plugging process has been studied and applied for ultra deep hole.The final hole depth of the project is 3000.58 m,which advances the control depth of Zhaoping fault to the deeper part by nearly 600 meters.It preliminarily reveals the structural distribution and alteration mineralization along the northern section of Zhaoping fault at a depth of nearly 3000 m,and provides an important practical basis for the study of deep geological characteristics,mineralization conditions,and estimation of mineral resources reserves at Zhaoping fault zone.关键词
